A Year Of No Shows

Last March, we thought this would only be a few months, that we’d see family and friends again in the fall. Now we’re just starting to resume our normal lives, still without live music.

Last January, I had 3 computers set up trying to buy My Chemical Romance tickets with hopes of seeing them live in 2021. This year that concert has been postponed and tickets refunded. I’m hopeful that this means someone will fix the Live Nation issue of the resale value of concert tickets.

Shows We Aren’t Going To See

Last year, we were supposed to see bands like Rammstein, and Judas Priest (for the 5th time). Instead, we got to watch series upon series of live stream events. Bringing the idea of live music to our screens as the world evolved into its new digital landscape.

These live streams introduced me to bands like Puscifer, and let MHB take a deep dive down the rabbit hole of early 60s of Psychodelic rock & roll.

What’s Been Going On Instead

With no live music and nowhere to travel, I’ve started to invest my time into crafting again.  I’ve created lightboxes for friends, cute drink tumblers, and crafted everything under the sun for our upcoming wedding.
